login failure email address linked to wron account

Issue: Claude for Chrome extension stuck in an infinite email verification loop — never completes login.
Steps to reproduce:

Open the Claude for Chrome extension's login screen.
Enter email address ([gregg@knudholt.com](mailto:gregg@knudholt.com)) and click "Continue with email."
Receive a verification code by email.
Enter the code and click "Verify Email Address."
Instead of completing sign-in, the screen returns to asking for a verification code again.
Repeating steps 2–5 multiple times (10+) does not resolve it — the loop continues indefinitely.

Additional context:

I am able to log into claude.ai normally in the same browser (as [gregg@knudholt.com](mailto:gregg@knudholt.com), Pro plan) via the standard email magic-link flow — that part works fine.
The extension's login appears to be a separate authentication flow from the claude.ai website login, and it's this separate extension flow that loops.
Chrome is not set to clear cookies/site data on close.
Browser: Chrome on Windows.

Impact: Unable to connect the Claude for Chrome extension to any Claude session, since the extension login never completes.

eveytime i login i need the link because the email address it is linked to in not the correct address it should be gregg@knudholt.co but it is cashlane1887@gmail.com. something has changed gregg@knudholt.co is not a google address but it logs me into google.
