Preflight Checklist

  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

I often work with multiple claude terminals in parallel. In some I solve complex problems in others I don't. Thus I activated "thinking" in some terminals in others I don't.
unfortunately there is no quick way to see if the current terminal works with the apropriate thinking mode. I always have to press tab first which will change the mode. Thus in most cases I had to press it again.

Proposed Solution

keep the current thinking mode displayed permanently.

Alternative Solutions

Use any other visual indicator to tell the user the current thinking mode

Priority

Medium - Would be very helpful

Feature Category

Interactive mode (TUI)

Use Case Example

  1. Start Terminal A
  2. do a complex job => activate thinking mode
  3. Start Terminal B
  4. do a simple job => do not activate thinking mode
  5. switch to Terminal A
  6. do a simple job. But in a lot of cases I use thinking mode although this burns tokens and time
