[BUG] [Bug] Current session (5h) usage row shows no reset time on claude.

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

On the Usage settings page, the "Current session" (5-hour) row displays the
static label "Starts when a message is sent" instead of a reset time, even
when the session is clearly active (92% used in my case). The weekly limit row
correctly shows a concrete reset time ("Resets Fri, 13:59"), but the session
row never does, so there is no way to know when the 5h window resets from this
page. The behavior persists into a new session, not just a one-off. This row previously showed a reset time in earlier sessions.

What Should Happen?

The "Current session" (5-hour) row in Settings → Usage should display the reset
time of the active session window — e.g. "Resets at 14:00" — once a session is
underway, consistent with how the "Weekly limits" row already shows a concrete
reset time. This lets users see when their 5h window will reset and pace their
usage accordingly. The static "Starts when a message is sent" text is only
appropriate before a session has begun; once usage is being consumed (92% in my
case), it should be replaced by the actual reset time.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open claude.ai on a Pro plan with an active 5-hour session (some usage already consumed).
  2. Go to Settings → Usage.
  3. Observe the "Current session" row.

Expected: it shows the reset time of the active 5h window.
Actual: it shows the static label "Starts when a message is sent" and a % used, but no reset time.

Note: For me this is permanent/100% reproducible — it happens every time I open the Usage page, across multiple sessions, with no special steps required.

Additional Information

Context: This is a claude.ai web bug (consumer Pro plan), not Claude Code.
The "Claude Code Version" and "Terminal/Shell" fields were set to N/A / Other
because they don't apply — the issue is in the browser UI at
claude.ai → Settings → Usage.

Environment: CachyOS (Arch-based Linux), Firefox. The bug is browser-rendered
and OS-independent, so it should reproduce on any platform.

Reproducibility: Permanent / 100% reproducible — happens every time I open the
Usage page, across multiple sessions, with no special steps.

Summary: The "Current session" (5h) row shows the static label "Starts when a
message is sent" with a % used, but never a reset time, while the "Weekly
limits" row correctly shows one. As a result there is no way to know when the
5h session window resets from this page.

Screenshot attached showing the Usage page with the session bar at 92% used and
no reset time displayed.
