Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

A scheduled routine (daily tech briefing) completed successfully and called the notification mechanism, but neither push nor email notifications were delivered, despite both being enabled in the routine's Notifications settings.

What Should Happen?

Expected behavior:
Notification should arrive via both push and email, per the enabled settings.

Actual behavior:
Neither push notification nor email arrived. Checked spam/junk folder, nothing there either.

Environment:

  • Feature: Claude Code on the web, scheduled routine/task notifications
  • Notification settings: Push ✓, Email ✓, Slack unchecked
  • Account email: [your account email]
  • Date/time of affected run: 2026-07-24

Additional context:
The routine itself executed correctly and produced its intended output; only the notification delivery step failed on both channels.

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Set up a scheduled routine/task in Claude Code on the web
  2. In the routine's settings → Notifications tab, enable both "Push notification" and "Email"
  3. Let the routine run on schedule (or trigger it)
  4. Routine completes and reports a notification was sent
  5. Check phone/desktop app and email inbox (including spam/junk)
