Feature idea: Donate unused weekly usage credits to nonprofits

Feature Request

It would be great if Claude.ai Pro (and other plan) subscribers could opt in to automatically donate unused weekly compute/usage to a vetted list of nonprofits — for example, organizations focused on medical research, education, or climate.

Proposed design

• Opt-in toggle at account setup or billing settings — set it once and forget it
• Vetted nonprofit list that Anthropic curates (e.g., medical research, education, humanitarian AI access)
• Annual usage summary showing total donated compute — useful for goodwill and potentially tax records

Why

Unused weekly usage currently just resets to zero. This would turn that wasted capacity into something meaningful for organizations that otherwise couldn't afford AI access.
