Unable to connect GitHub to Claude Code on claude.ai

What were you trying to do?

I am trying to connect my GitHub account to Claude Code on claude.ai so that Claude can access my GitHub repositories.

I want to be able to select a repository and allow Claude Code to read the project files, understand the existing code, and help me edit and develop the project.

I am using the GitHub integration page in Claude settings and trying to authorize the GitHub connection.

What happened instead?

The GitHub connection is not working as expected. After trying to connect/authorize GitHub, Claude Code still cannot access or see my GitHub repositories.

I would like help enabling the GitHub integration correctly so I can grant Claude access to the repositories I choose.

Please let me know if there are any additional GitHub permissions, Claude settings, or authorization steps that I need to enable.
