Problem Statement

Dear Anthropic Support,
I am writing as a paying Claude Pro MAX subscriber to express my serious disappointment with the current weekly usage limits policy, and to ask that it be reviewed for professional users on the MAX tier.
Who I am and how I use Claude: I run Vision Computer Applications, a Greek software company. I use Claude Code daily as a core development tool on a production ERP/invoicing system (Timologisi) that serves real business customers. This is professional, time-critical work — it currently includes a live EFT-POS certification process with Greek banks, where certification appointments are one-shot and rescheduling costs weeks.
The problem: During a normal working session this week, I hit the weekly usage limits — which apply to ALL models, including Fable 5 — in the middle of critical production bug fixing. The only option I was offered to continue working was to purchase additional credits on top of my MAX subscription.
I find this unacceptable for the following reasons:
MAX is marketed as the top professional tier. I already pay for the highest available subscription precisely because my work demands sustained daily usage. Hitting a hard weekly cap during normal professional use defeats the purpose of the tier.
Being pushed to buy credits on top of a MAX subscription feels like double charging. If the subscription cannot cover professional daily use, the tier's limits should be stated much more prominently before purchase.
The weekly (rather than daily) window makes the impact worse: once the limit is reached, I am effectively locked out of my primary development tool for days, in the middle of production incidents and a bank certification I cannot reschedule.
What I am asking:
Please review the weekly limit policy for MAX subscribers, or introduce a genuinely uncapped (or substantially higher) professional option.
At minimum: provide clear, real-time visibility of remaining weekly capacity before it runs out, and tools to control which features (e.g. multi-agent/subagent workflows) consume it, so heavy operations are opt-in.
I would appreciate a concrete response on whether higher-limit options for professional customers are planned.
I want to be clear that I am very satisfied with the capability of the models themselves — that is exactly why this policy is so frustrating: the product is excellent, but the limits prevent me from relying on it professionally.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to your response.
Kind regards,
Michael Diamantidis
