Can't open a Claude-generated HTML report in the Claude iPhone app

What happens: When a Claude Code session generates an HTML report (e.g. a local .html file written to disk), there's no way to open or view it from the Claude iPhone app. The file is produced on the desktop machine but the app offers no way to render it, preview it, or open it — so the report is inaccessible on mobile.

Why it's a problem: A lot of Claude Code output is HTML reports meant to be looked at, not just described in chat. If the session ran on desktop (or on a schedule) and I'm on my phone, I can see that a report was generated but can't actually view it. That defeats the point of checking work from mobile.

Expected:

  • The app should be able to open/render an HTML report generated by a session (inline preview or an in-app web view).
  • At minimum, provide a way to view or download the generated file from the app.

Environment: HTML report generated by a Claude Code session (desktop/scheduled); attempting to open it in the Claude iPhone app.

Impact: Medium — HTML deliverables generated by sessions can't be viewed on mobile.
