Bug Report
Environment:
- Mac: Claude Code desktop app
- iPhone: Claude Code iOS app
- Both devices signed into the same Claude account
- Mac not behind VPN
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable Settings → Claude Code → "Enable remote control by default" in the Mac desktop app
- Start a new session on Mac
- Open Claude Code app on iPhone (same account)
- iPhone shows "No sessions found"
Expected behavior:
New Mac sessions should automatically appear as connectable in the iPhone app when "Enable remote control by default" is ON.
Actual behavior:
No sessions appear on iPhone. The feature does not work.
What was tried:
- Confirmed same account on both devices
- Started a fresh new session (not a pre-existing one)
- No VPN or known firewall
/web-setupcommand returns "not available in this environment" in the desktop appclaude.ai/codein browser also prompted for/web-setupwhich could not be run
