[Bug][aup] Safeguards block benign request to review code work another model just completed in session (req_011CcjVv28pW52NPY52wMCDo)

Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The safeguard fired on a routine, benign request asking the assistant to review work completed earlier in the session by a different model — a plain quality-check instruction containing no sensitive content, no security-related material, and no reference to any person or external target. The message was a short, typo-containing sentence ("check over all the work the other model just did") sent immediately after a model switch, and nothing in the surrounding session involved out-of-scope activity. Blocking this halted an ordinary code-review handoff between models, making it a clear false positive on legitimate, in-scope work.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-05T19:56:27.400Z.

In-scope justification

False positive — in-scope, authorized security work; not out of scope. Filed automatically by claudit.
