[Bug][aup] Safety block halted image-mapping/screenshot analysis mid-audit over a frustrated exclamation (req_011CccWJ1i7EbpLVUREJh3eV)

Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

A safety filter halted the entire coding session over a frustrated exclamation the user directed at the assistant mid-session; no person was addressed, threatened, or targeted, and the message contained no disallowed content beyond mild venting after a series of confusing exchanges. The surrounding work was a legitimate, in-scope engineering task (a headless UI audit reviewing rendered page screenshots), and nothing in it violates the AUP. Blocking an entire session on ordinary user frustration is a disruptive false positive that prevents continued legitimate work rather than mitigating any real harm.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T03:17:24.849Z.
