[Bug][aup] Safety block fired on frustrated exclamation while fixing takeoff/landing command and SDK errors (req_011CccTd12cDpKjYZkW2xQe8)

Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

This safety block fired mid-session on a frustrated exclamation directed at the assistant, not at any person, following repeated prior blocks in the conversation; the surrounding work was legitimate software debugging (diagnosing and fixing errors in a set of takeoff/landing commands and an SDK). Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy is meant to catch content that targets or harms real people, not an emotional outburst aimed at an AI assistant with no target and no harmful intent. Halting an entire coding session over venting like this is a disruptive false positive, and the classifier should be tuned to distinguish frustration expressed toward the assistant from actual policy-violating content.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T02:42:02.239Z.
