[Bug][aup] Block on fixing incorrect safe takeoff/landing commands in FOSS drone GCS project (req_011CccTWvPtbipfB1TLB3VhG)
Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general
Why this is a false positive
Fable 5's safeguards blocked a mid-session message asking the assistant to continue debugging incorrect takeoff and landing command handling in an open-source ground control application the user was building for their own hardware — routine flight-software development with no harmful intent or capability. The conversation context immediately preceding the block explicitly established the work as legitimate development on the user's own equipment, and the flagged message merely restated the current debugging objective. Blocking this halted an active coding session on safety-critical correctness work (getting flight commands right), which is the opposite of a harm-reduction outcome; this is a false positive on in-scope software engineering.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T02:40:37.735Z.

API Error: Fable 5's safeguards flagged this message (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/aup). They may flag safe, normal content as well. These measures let us bring you Mythos-level capabilities sooner, and we're working to refine them. Claude Code can't respond to this request with Fable 5.
