[Bug] Fleet mode excessive token consumption on simple type-checking task

Bug Description
Tried fleet mode. It spent all day burning tokens (hit limit on 100/month subscription and 60% on next session). The task was very straightforward - audit the repo and ensure each var is typed. It's not that big of a repo. I don't know how it took so long and burnt so many tokens to do that. I think it has to do with this agent mode being incredibly inefficient at writing/copying code. When it finally completed there were noticeable large gaps from what I had asked and the build is incredibly buggy. There's no way I can merge this and it would take more time for me to audit then to have just made the changes myself. I'm hoping that I can be credited something for this pretty much wasting a day of work.
