[Bug] Excessive token consumption on simple requests with Claude Sonnet 4.6

Bug Description
Sonnet 4.6 just burned through over 32k of tokens and 2/4 of my session allowance on a single and simple request by overanalysing a simple command I gave it. rediculous.

MacOS desktop app
- Platform: darwin
- Version: Claude 1.569.0 (49894a) 2026-04-02T20:01:42.000Z
- Feedback ID: 705285a3-d1ca-4a23-aaad-7980edee50d6
Since the /feedback command isn't working in the desktop app I used the terminal version to get here.
