[Bug] Session restore creates truncated chat history from claude agents list

Bug Description
when sessions are in the 'claude agents' list, sometimes restoring them results in an empty chat session except for the last message. claude --resume shows 2 sessions, one the new truncated one, and the other is the good old one i can recover and resume

Not exactly a duplicate as this isn't --resume

same issue here.

all chat history capped: chat history only gets saved until aprox.~ 13/06/2026. Eveything after that is lost.
