[Bug] Claude Code consuming excessive tokens without producing code output

Bug Description
This whole session claude just ran and consumed all of the session tokens without writing a single line of code.
it ran for more than 15mins and consumed 34k tokens. i interuppted ask why it is stuck, then again the same loop 6mins 18k tokens consumed lost more than 35% of of session limit of token.
absolutely absimal performance this session. never experienced this in the 2 months of extensive claude code usage.
