[Bug] Claude enters infinite reasoning loop consuming excessive tokens

Bug Description
Since April 19, 2026, i have been experiencing issues with work sessions. Any task causes Claude to think indefinitely; sometimes it may even consume several hundred tokens, and then it just gets stuck in endless rumination. This has happened before, but rarely, and it was usually resolved by simply restarting the session. Please help!!!
