[BUG] Cowork and Code tabs grayed out – CoworkVMService running but VM stalls at tick 1 – Windows 11, Max plan

What's Wrong?

Body:
Cowork stopped working after an automatic app update. I am on a Max plan and have been using Cowork as my primary workspace. This is a complete work stoppage.
Environment:

OS: Windows 11
App version: Claude 1.8555.2.0 (MSIX)
Plan: Max (individual)
Region: Cyprus
Account: [nicolenatour@hotmail.de](mailto:nicolenatour@hotmail.de)

All troubleshooting completed:

Virtual Machine Platform: enabled ✓
Hyper-V: enabled ✓
HypervisorPlatform: enabled ✓
Full uninstall + MSIX reinstall ✓
CoworkVMService: confirmed running ✓
Multiple reboots ✓

Key log entries:
[ScheduledTasks] VM not ready (tick 1), requesting startVM
[error] Cannot get base query config: oauth failed (not_logged_in): no sessionKey cookie found
Result: OAuth resolves after re-login, CoworkVMService is running, but VM never initializes. Tabs remain grayed out.
Support chatbot confirmed this is an "account provisioning issue that requires backend investigation."

What Should Happen?

Cowork and Code tabs should be accessible and the VM should initialize successfully.

[error] Cannot get base query config: oauth failed (not_logged_in): no sessionKey cookie found

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Desktop app on Windows 11
2. Observe that Cowork and Code tabs are grayed out and non-clickable
3. All prerequisites are met (VM Platform, Hyper-V, HypervisorPlatform enabled, CoworkVMService running)
4. VM never initializes - stalls at tick 1
