[BUG] Persistent false-positive AUP violation blocks entire AI research project (Opus 4.7)
Preflight Checklist
- [ ] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Claude Code repeatedly triggers "Usage Policy violation" on my legitimate
AI research project. Every session is blocked because the classifier flags
the project's source code and documentation files that are auto-loaded into context.
The issue persists across new sessions, /clear, and rephrasing prompts.
The project is completely unusable with Claude Code.
Already reported to usersafety@anthropic.com with all request IDs.
What Should Happen?
Claude Code should be able to read and edit legitimate AI research project files
without triggering the AUP classifier.

Steps to Reproduce
- Open Claude Code in a project directory containing AI research code and documentation
- Send any prompt
- Classifier triggers on project file content loaded into context
- New sessions fail with the same error because the same project files are auto-loaded
