[BUG] Claude Code is not working on the desktop app. It's working on the website and through VS Code, but it just won't work on the desktop app of Claude. It's been stuck for 3 days.

What's Wrong?

Claude Code is not working on the desktop app. It's working on the website and through VS Code, but it just won't work on the desktop app of Claude. It's been stuck for 3 days.
I have tried all the different steps recommended, including shutting it down, re-authenticating, reinstalling after uninstalling, and a bunch of other suggestions in the chat bot along with what Claude chat recommended, but nothing has worked.
The screen just keeps loading on any and all requests, even a simple request like "create a folder" isn't processed.

it works in VS Code/web but not Desktop
Started around 1am India time May 19th
Persists after reinstall

What Should Happen?

It should process even the basic operations.

Steps are:

1. Open Claude desktop app.
2. Go to Claude Code.
3. Give any instructions.
4. Observe that it doesn't follow and just gets hung in the processing stage.
