Chat content going blank

What's Wrong?
Everything was working fine in Claude Pro which I started using on 13 May and I only have a few chats going and then a day or 2 ago something strange started to happen (16-19 May 2026) - with no changes to anything on my Windows 11 Microsoft 365 PC. When I open Claude Pro App on my PC as I have done many times since 13 May I can select a chat and then another and the next and can see the content as per normal but when I select the chat again for the 2nd time the content is blank - missing. I reset my PC and the same thing repeats. However with Claude App on my iphone 15 pro max and Chrome - the content is always there when I select the same chat a number of times. I have used ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro to help fix this issue and it's been now all day yesterday and today going through all the troubleshooting items both have suggested without solving this issue. With no support from support - Sad
What Should Happen?
I should be able to see my Chat/s comments text in each chat each time I select seperate chats everytime on my Windows Claude Pro App on my PC

Steps to Reproduce:
Open the Claude Desktop App on Windows 11
Sign in to your Claude Pro account
In the left sidebar, click on any existing chat to open it
Confirm the chat content loads and is visible
Click on a different chat in the sidebar
Confirm that chat content also loads and is visible
Now click back on the first chat again (second time selecting it)
Observe that the chat content area is now completely blank — no messages are visible
Expected Result: The chat content should display correctly every time a chat is selected, regardless of how many times it has been clicked.
Actual Result: On the second selection of any chat, the content disappears entirely and the screen is blank. This repeats consistently every session.
Additional Context:
The same chats display perfectly on the Claude iPhone app and in Chrome (claude.ai), confirming the data is not lost — it is a desktop app rendering bug
A full PC reset does not fix the issue — it repeats identically after every restart
Fully uninstalling and reinstalling the app did not resolve the issue
This bug has been independently confirmed by other users and logged on Anthropic's GitHub as Issue #59991 (filed 18 May 2026)
