Auto-scroll behavior interrupts reading in chat window

Problem Statement

When Claude is generating a long response, the chat window automatically scrolls down as new content is typed forcing me to scroll up to continue reading while the new response is being generated.

Proposed Solution

Expected behavior: The auto-scroll should offer an "enable/disable" option for those that want to manually scroll to follow the chat in line.
