/schedule fails to connect to remote claude.ai account (desktop build)

What's Wrong?

Running Claude Code desktop build. /schedule consistently errors with
"We're having trouble connecting with your remote claude.ai account to
set up a scheduled task."

• First seen: 2026-05-11
• Still failing: 2026-05-12
• Trying to schedule: /corp-dev-sweep-contribute (daily)
• /bug and /feedback also unavailable on desktop build, so filing here.

Account is otherwise functional — slash commands, MCP connectors, and
Skills all work normally in the REPL.

What Should Happen?

Claude should allow me to schedule the /corp-dev-sweep-contribute skill
