Desktop app: cannot sort projects in sidebar

Summary

The Claude Code desktop app sidebar previously allowed sorting/reordering the project list, and I can no longer do so. There's no visible sort control, neither in the project list header nor in right-click / context menus on individual projects.

Environment

• macOS (Darwin 25.3.0)
• Claude Code desktop app, current version as of late April 2026

Expected

A way to sort or reorder projects in the sidebar (by name, recency, or manual drag).

Actual

No sort control is visible anywhere in the sidebar. Projects appear in a fixed order with no way to change it.

Question

Was project sorting intentionally removed or relocated, or is this a regression? If it was moved, please point to the new location. If removed, would the team consider restoring manual reordering — it's useful for users with many projects.
