[BUG] ⌘ shown in interactive "approval" prompts on Windows, instead of Ctrl

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

In the "Code" view of the Claude Desktop application, on Windows, the keyboard shortcuts should reflect the actual Windows keyboard shortcuts.

In the current state, the keyboard shortcuts indicate what would be the "Alt" key on a Windows keyboard (the standard 'command key' placement), but the shortcut is actually "Ctrl".

What Should Happen?

These interactive approval prompts, on Windows, should correctly show a Ctrl key hint instead of the Apple ⌘ key.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In the Claude Desktop application, on Windows, switch to the Code view.
  2. In a session, do something that will get the agent to prompt for user approval.
  3. Note the ⌘ in the keyboard shortcut(s) shown on the approval action buttons.
  4. ⌘ on a Windows keyboard translates to the Alt key; try the specified keyboard shortcut using the Alt key. Note that this does not work.
  5. Now try the keyboard shortcut using the Ctrl key instead of Alt (in place of the ⌘), and note that it does work.
