[BUG] Cowork tab not appearing in Claude Desktop — Windows 10 Pro, Pro Annual Plan

What's Wrong?
Subject: Cowork tab not appearing in Claude Desktop — Windows 10 Pro, Pro Annual Plan
Hi Anthropic Support,
I'm on a Pro annual plan and the Cowork tab is not appearing in my Claude Desktop app on Windows. I've done extensive troubleshooting and the issue persists.
My setup:
- OS: Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2, Build 19045.6466
- Claude Desktop: Latest version (confirmed via Help → Check for Updates — no update available)
- Subscription: Pro, Annual (renews Feb 24, 2027)
What I've already tried:
- Downloaded and reinstalled Claude Desktop fresh from claude.com/download
- Enabled Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Platform, and Windows Hypervisor Platform in Windows Features — confirmed all three are on
- Restarted the PC after enabling virtualization features
- Cleared AppData folders related to Claude
- Confirmed my Pro plan is active (visible in Settings → Billing)
- Confirmed Cowork appears in Settings sidebar — only Dispatch and Global Instructions options are shown, no activation toggle
The result in every case: only the Chat tab appears in Claude Desktop. There is no Cowork tab.
This matches known GitHub issues #25136, #25692, and #48407, where the yukonSilver VM component is marked as unsupported and blocks the Cowork tab from appearing — even on fully capable Windows 10 Pro systems with all virtualization features enabled.
Please advise on next steps or push a fix to my account.
