[Bug] Claude Code hanging/extremely slow performance on basic tasks after recent update

Bug Description
claude used to be great -> but since the last update -> claude is taking unusally long to complete a basic task -> something that took max 30 seconds now take 10 mins or more. I have to interrupt the task and then type continue. It is not performing as well. I followed some advise to delete the proejcts folder in .claude, and that would help but nothing. I am running a task right now to change the statusline and it has compelted and it is taken 10mins
