[Bug] Terminal color rendering causes text visibility issues on macOS

Resolved 💬 1 comment Opened Apr 18, 2026 by SAnegondhi Closed May 26, 2026

Bug Description
Rendering colors - getting garbled out and colors are not rendered correctly resulting in invisible letters like " ound" for "Round" etc. TERM is correctly set to "xterm-256color". On MacOS. This seems to have surfaced in the versions after 2.1.110 (probably)

Environment Info

  • Platform: darwin
  • Terminal: vscode
  • Version: 2.1.114
