[BUG] Claude app v. 1.3109.0 Pro plan hit usage limits after just 4 questions, seems to be counting previous chats in current session

What's Wrong?

I'm using Claude desktop v 1.3109.0 on a Windows 11 PC. I have tried using the Fin chatbot to solve this problem, without success. I recently upgraded to Pro and seem to be hitting usage limits way too quickly - much quicker than when I was using the Free version.

In my session this morning, I asked just 4 questions and got notified that I'd used 90% of my limit. I asked Claude to assess the current chat to see why, and it referenced all the conversations I have had with it over the last 2 weeks as if these were part of the current session. This is clearly an error.

And that last question alone took me from 90% up to 100% usage. That can't be right.

I see lots of other users have reported usage limits being hit too quickly, but not on this version, and I don't see many responses from Anthropic here... I really hope you can respond to this, I love Claude as a tool, but it is unusable if the usage limits are getting hit this quickly.

I have tried everything Fin suggested, including a full reinstall of Claude app.

What Should Happen?

Claude should count only the usage of the current session.

There should be a way to contact Support when chatbot help is not sufficient. When asked to escalate an issue, your chatbot refers the user to your help page, and your help page refers the user back to the chat bot. After going round in circles for half an hour, I could find no way to contact Support. This is frustrating, and it is really not how to retain paying customers.
