[BUG] UI Bug – Project view covered by dark overlay

Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Apr 15, 2026 by devhousehq Closed Apr 19, 2026

What's Wrong?

When opening a project, part of the project view is not rendered correctly. The screen appears completely dark from top to bottom.

The issue persists after restarting the application and resizing the window does not fix it.

However, closing the sidebar immediately restores visibility.

What Should Happen?

The project view should render normally without any dark or blank overlay when opening a project.

Additional Information

Possible cause:
The issue seems related to sidebar state or layout rendering (overlay / z-index issue).

Frequency:
Occurs every time when opening a project.

I tried to attach screenshots in the issue form, but the upload appears to get stuck and only shows an "Uploading..." placeholder.

I can provide screenshots if needed.

Screenshot 1 shows the project view covered by a dark overlay while the sidebar is open.
Screenshot 2 shows the view rendering normally after closing the sidebar.
