  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

When using the Claude app for Windows, in Code mode, whenever any text is entered, the microphone button in the lower right part of the text entry area does not change to the orange Enter button as it used to. For now, Ctrl+Enter remains a viable workaround. In Chat mode, the microphone button DOES change to the orange Enter button upon entry of any text, as it is supposed to. App version is Claude 1.1617.0 (8d6345) 2026-04-09T16:10:15.000Z.

What Should Happen?

Whenever any text is entered, the microphone button should change to the Enter button.
