[BUG] Only one Claude Code session possible

What's Wrong?

Claude Code got a bad update and does not start up in two directories at the same time. It starts, but then it is unresponsive in the second terminal. It works again in the second terminal, if the first session exits. This used to work.

What Should Happen?

It should start up and respond to prompts in multiple directories at the same time.

Steps to Reproduce

Have two existing projects prepared to continue.
Open Claude Code in terminal 1, with --continue.
Open Claude Code in terminal 2, with --continue.
Only terminal 1 has working Claude Code session.
Close terminal 1.
The second Claude Code terminal session works again, but not with normal input. Press Ctrl+C once.
