[BUG] Cowork stuck on “Starting session” for days, and “Working through a complex response…” for 42+ minutes (macOS)

What's Wrong?

Desktop app version: Claude 1.1348.0 (efa3fd) 2026-04-08T15:06:08.000Z
macOS version: 15.5 (24F74)
Behavior: Cowork has been stuck on “Starting session” for days, and I also had a task stuck on “Working through a complex response…” for 42+ minutes (even with simple prompts).
Logs: (paste relevant Console.app lines around the time it gets stuck)
