Login failure despite active paid subscription

Paid subscriber was unable to log in to Claude Code. The /login command failed, blocking access to a service they are actively paying for.

This is unacceptable for a paid product. Login reliability needs to be treated as P0.

Steps to reproduce

• Have an active paid Claude subscription
• Run /login in Claude Code
• Login fails

Expected behavior

Login should succeed reliably for paid subscribers.

Actual behavior

Login failed, requiring repeated attempts before succeeding.
