macbook file user permissions changed by claude code after editing

Bug Description
In macbook, editing a file by claude code changes the file permissions e.g. if a file has read and write access for 2 users, A & B, after edit by claude code, only B has read and write permission, where B is the current logged in user. This behaviour is not seen with codex!
