[Feature Request] Option to start session with `auto-accept edits on` (shift-tab).

claude --permission-mode acceptEdits

...
--permission-mode <mode> Permission mode to use for the session (choices: "acceptEdits", "bypassPermissions", "default", "plan")

put it in your shell config, e.g. .bashrc: alias claude='claude --permission-mode acceptEdits'

Thnx! I didn't know there was such option, I will use it. Still, I would appreciate a setting in the JSON file as aliases are a bit hacky

+1 to be able to configure this instead of creating aliases.

I'd rather have it in settings.json (or similar) than append to command line each time

Please make auto-accept edits sticky via a write to settings.local.json

Bonus points: give a warning, and suggestion to create, if there isn't a local git repo
