Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

I was running on a Max 5X plan. Was at 80%, upgraded to Max 20X plan. Within 10 minutes, I got two separate messages that "You've hit your limit · resets 9pm (America/New_York)" on Claude Code AND Claude Cowork.

I was able to log out and back into Claude Cowork, that solved the issue.

Claude Code is continuing to show the bug. I was on Opus 4.6. Then I switched to this:

Claude Code v2.1.87
▝▜█████▛▘ Sonnet 4.6 · Claude Max
▘▘ ▝▝ ~\Desktop\Inclari\GitHub\api

What do you want to do?

> 1. Stop and wait for limit to reset

  1. Add funds to continue with extra usage
  2. Upgrade your plan

My usage console is showing 4% used as of this moment, it was at 0 just a moment ago.

What Should Happen?

Claude Code should continue running according the plan usage limits.
