Declining usability — reliability issues and increasingly aggressive limits

Summary

As a paying subscriber, I've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience recently:

  • Reliability: Claude has been experiencing too many problems lately, making it difficult to depend on for sustained work.
  • Rate limits: Usage limits appear to be getting subtly but noticeably more aggressive over time, reducing how much productive work can be done in a session.
  • Subscription value: These combined issues are making it hard to justify continuing the subscription.

Impact

I rely on Claude Code for an ongoing C++/OpenGL engine project that requires extended, focused sessions. Frequent interruptions from errors and tighter limits break flow and reduce productivity.

Expected behavior

A paid subscription should provide consistent, reliable access with stable (or improving) usage limits — not a gradually degrading experience.
