[BUG] /remote-control or /rc do not appear inside my claude code session, on latest version
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
I cannot find /rc or /remote-control commands and claude isn't helping either. I'm a Max 20x subscriber on 2.1.74, latest version
What Should Happen?
/remote-control command should appear and work
Error Messages/Logs
no error but this is what Claude had to say:
remote-control is not a command in your version (2.1.74). It doesn't appear in the help output at all — no remote-control command, no /rc slash command equivalent.
This feature may have been announced or documented but isn't in the current release yet, or it might be rolling out gradually. Your auth is fine (OAuth, Max plan),
so when it does land it should work for you.
To check when it becomes available, watch the release notes:
claude update
Or keep an eye on the Claude Code changelog. The feature exists in the docs but isn't in your build yet.
Steps to Reproduce
not sure how this specific issue can be reproduced but typing "/remote-control" doesn't resolve or work
