/remote-control (/rc) does not appear in slash command list despite Claude Max plan + OAuth login

  • Claude Code version: 2.1.198
  • Plan: Claude Max (organizationType: claude_max), authenticated via claude.ai OAuth (not API key)
  • Symptom: Typing /remote in the CLI only suggests /remote-env. /remote-control and its alias /rc never appear, and running /rc directly doesn't work either.
  • The in-app tip/upsell for Remote Control (remoteControlUpsellSeenCount) has been shown twice, advertising the feature, but the command itself never becomes available.
  • Tried: restarting Claude Code, updating to the latest version (2.1.198) — no change.
  • Expectation: /remote-control should be available given the plan and auth method meet the documented requirements.
