Scrolling through history to find your messages is a Where's Wally lvl 50 challenge. Discreet grey line squished inbetween huge walls of Claude commands, looking like thinking blocks but with a small chevron as their only real disctinctive visual.
IMO they should be made very proeminent.

Are you looking for the user input history? It can be found in
~/.claude.jsonfile or use Up/Down arrows key.Thank you. I know about those ways to find my lines singled out, as well as double ESC, but I'm purely looking for a clear visual demarcation of user prompts to immediately catch them when scrolling through the session history.
Dear family, I have a question. If I want to delete 'history', what command should I use? (I noticed that. claude.json has saved a copy of 'history' for different projects.)
It would be great if user prompts were saved to a bespoke JSON file somewhere and made easily available through a built-in
/promptscommand or something like that.I often find myself wanting to recycle prompts I had used before
@PaulRBerg user prompts are saved in ~/.claude.json
And I'm closing this issue since one of the last updates improved user message visibility with background highlighting.
