Resolved 💬 4 comments Opened Feb 28, 2026 by isacstelian Closed Mar 28, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Claude Code version: 2.1.63
OS: macOS (arm64, Sequoia)
Node versions tested: 22.22.0 and 24.2.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run claude remote-control
  2. Accept with y

Error:
/opt/homebrew/Cellar/node@22/22.22.0_1/bin/node: bad option: --sdk-url session_xxx

Expected: Remote Control session starts successfully
Actual: Session immediately fails. The session appears in claude.ai/code web UI
(with cloud/offline icon) but the local process dies instantly.

Note: Installed via Homebrew (/opt/homebrew/bin/claude).

What Should Happen?

Running claude remote-control should start a local session and display
a URL + QR code that can be used to connect from claude.ai/code or the
Claude mobile app.
