Environment

  • Platform (select one):
  • [√] Anthropic API
  • [ ] AWS Bedrock
  • [ ] Google Vertex AI
  • [ ] Other: <!-- specify -->
  • Claude CLI version: 1.0.39 (Claude Code)
  • Operating System: n/a
  • Terminal: n/a

Bug Description

Claude Code ignores sections of a fairly thoroughly documented PRD

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Write a PRD / Database / Functional spec
  2. Tell Claude to code from these documents
  3. Test/bringup the resulting code

Expected Behavior

The agent to decompose the PRD into tasks, and complete each task

Actual Behavior

The agent simply skips vital components, leading into endless repetitive debugging. Is the agent doing this so we spend more tokens? :-P

Additional Context

Absolutely WILD that this is a bug to report, your bot is acting like a terminally lazy offshore dev who can't remember how to init a database record, can't remember to generate thumbnail images, and so on, but here we are in 2025 living in Science Fiction Worldβ„’ πŸ€–
