Remote Control not enabled despite active Max 20x subscription

Problem

Running claude remote-control returns:

Error: Remote Control is not enabled for your account. Contact your administrator.

Account Details

  • Subscription: Max 20x (active)
  • Auth method: claude.ai (first-party)
  • Claude Code version: 2.1.52
  • Platform: Windows 11 Pro

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run claude remote-control from any project directory
  2. Error is returned immediately

Expected Behavior

Remote Control should be available for Max plan subscribers as documented.

Please enable Remote Control for my account. This is a key feature for my workflow.
