[BUG] messages only appearing after sending a new one in Cowork (Mac)

What's Wrong?

The Claude Desktop's Cowork tab chat UI doesn't show the responses from Claude. It looks like it's still working, but when I type something it might then show that it had actually written something and is waiting for input from me. I saw someone has reported this issue just now for Windows, but I have it for Mac as well.

What Should Happen?

The messages from Claude should become visible without separate prompting from me.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Write anything in Claude Cowork tab on desktop app.
2. Wait for a response from Claude that doesn't appear.
3. Type anything yourself and hit enter -> message from Claude then becomes visible.
