[BUG] Stops mid way thru working for no reason

  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

While working, Claude Code will just sometimes stop completely for no reason and doesn't say why. This is unprompted and I did not hit the stop button. It will look like it is working but will not have the line that usually is visible at the bottom while working like "*Thinking...".

When I prompt it if it is done or why it stopped it will say something like this:
"I didn't intend to stop — let me continue. I still need to update the context dependency array and implement steps 6-9."

What Should Happen?

It just happens
