What's Wrong?

Hello,
I am experiencing a serious duplicate billing error on my Claude account. I have been charged 26 times on January 28, 2026, instead of once.
Breakdown of charges:

18 charges of €21.42 = €385.56
8 charges of €214.20 = €1,713.60
Total incorrectly charged: €2,099.16

I have verified all charges on my credit card statement. I should only be charged once per billing cycle.
Steps already taken:

Submitted support ticket #72180200 on January 30, 2026
No response received from support for 4 days
Verified duplicate charges on my credit card statement and Claude invoice dashboard

Expected behavior:
I should be charged only once per billing cycle.
Actual behavior:
I was charged 26 times in one day, totaling [€2,099.16.]

This requires urgent resolution and immediate refund of duplicate charges.

What Should Happen?

I should only be charged once per billing cycle for my Claude subscription. Only one charge of either €21.42 or €214.20 should appear on my account and credit card statement per month, not 26 separate charges on the same day.
Additionally, when a billing error of this magnitude occurs (€2,099.16 in duplicate charges), Anthropic's support team should respond urgently within 24 hours. It has been 4 days since I submitted ticket #72180200 with no response or acknowledgment.
Expected:

Only 1 charge per billing cycle
Immediate refund of all duplicate charges (€2,099.16)
Support response within 24 hours for urgent billing issues
Confirmation that this error will not happen again

Steps to Reproduce

Have an active Claude subscription account (account email: [sagadechints@gmail.com](mailto:sagadechints@gmail.com))
Continue using Claude normally throughout the month
On January 28, 2026 (billing date), the system automatically processes the monthly payment
Instead of charging once, the billing system processes 26 separate charges in one day:

18 charges of €21.42 = €385.56
8 charges of €214.20 = €1,713.60

Log into Claude account and go to the Invoices/Billing section
Observe 26 invoices all dated January 28, 2026, all marked as "Paid"
Check credit card statement - all 26 charges have been processed and deducted
Submit support ticket #72180200 on January 30, 2026 to report the issue
Wait 4 days - no response or acknowledgment received from support

Total incorrectly charged: €2,099.16
Note: This issue cannot be reproduced manually as it is an automatic billing system error. The duplicate charges were triggered by the system itself during the billing cycle, not by any user action.
