[Feature Request] Add option to disable diff widget keyboard focus or prevent down arrow navigation to diff widget

Bug Description
please provide a way to prevent the down arrow from selecting that new "diff" widget that appears below the text input. I rely on the down arrow to act as an end key and it's really disruptive to have it sometimes behave differently depending on if the diff widget is present
