Frequent 403 "Request not allowed" errors despite Max subscription

## Issue Description
I am experiencing frequent and intermittent 403 errors ("Request not allowed") while using Claude Code, despite having an active Max subscription - the highest tier available.

## Environment

  • Claude Code version: 1.0.22
  • Platform: macOS Darwin 24.5.0
  • Subscription: Max plan (highest tier)
  • Issue frequency: Intermittent, no clear pattern

## Expected Behavior
As a paying Max subscriber, I expect stable and uninterrupted access to Claude Code services.

## Actual Behavior
Getting random 403 errors with message:
API Error: 403 {"error":{"type":"forbidden","message":"Request not allowed"}}

## Impact
This issue severely impacts my productivity and user experience. As someone who has invested in the most expensive subscription tier, I find this unacceptable and expect premium service quality.

## Steps Taken

  • Verified subscription is active
  • Successfully logged in via OAuth
  • Cleared cache
  • Checked network connectivity

The intermittent nature suggests this is not a client-side issue but rather a service reliability problem.

Please prioritize fixing this issue for Max tier subscribers.
